This is a 4-hour designed to provide basic and intermediate insurance instruction for insurance professionals ranging from agents, CSR’s, underwriters, field managers, and agency owners.
This course will provide instruction and review to participants on the
provisions, exclusions, and conditions of policies used throughout the
industry involving the policyholder duties, agent’s duties, and company
obligations for some of more common claims including auto liability, auto
physical damage, building and home forms, contents and commercial
policies. Included will be a look at claim settlement provisions, exclusions,
and limitations dealing with claims from mold, sewer back-up, water claims
of all types, unattended death and crime scene, hail, power surges, and
claims for loss of use.
Through each step of the program, participants will be asked to become
involved in discussions designed to highlight the concepts provided.

This is a 4-hour basic course of insurance instruction designed for a wide range of insurance industry personnel including, but not limited to, agency staff and company employees.
The course is designed to provide participants with information about
Personal and Commercial Insurance policies and the treatment by those
policies for property claims related to damages from all types of water
claims. This includes the coverage and exclusions for claims from broken
domestic water sources, drain and sewer lines, ground water, surface
water and flood. Basic information about the National Flood Insurance
Program (NFIP), will be presented and participants will be encourage to
engage in discussions about standard personal lines, commercial lines,
inland marine, and specialty policies and how those policies treat claims
for water related perils. Discussion will focus on underwriting regulations,
policy coverages and most importantly, how Flood Insurance integrates
into the Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policies being provided in
the standard market.
